Jennifer Porco, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist, licensed in Ohio and Pennsylvania, and the founder and owner of Viola Clinical Services. She received her undergraduate degree from Boston College and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Michigan State University.
Dr. Porco completed her clinical internship at University of California, San Diego and has completed post-doctoral fellowships at University of Michigan and the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System. Dr. Porco has experience teaching as an adjunct professor in Chatham University’s Graduate Counseling Psychology program. She has published several peer-reviewed articles focused on understanding influences on the development of disordered eating and substance use disorders.
Her therapeutic expertise is in the treatment of eating disorders, substance use disorders, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders, working predominantly with adolescents and adults. Dr. Porco mainly utilizes cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral techniques in therapy, though she has also received training in psychodynamic theory.
